Welcome to Miami Bridge Fundraiser 2021. Led by a team of Florida International University students to support the families of Miami Bridge Youth and Family Services Inc.
INTERESTED IN VOLUNTEERING?
Adults interested in ongoing volunteer service at Miami Bridge must be approved by the agency prior to participation. The application process to become an ongoing volunteer may take several weeks and includes the following steps:
– Volunteer application CLICK HERE
– Local background check obtained at Miami-Dade Police Department ($5 cost)
– Interview and reference checks
– Volunteer training/orientation
If you are interested in volunteering more than 10 hours per month, there are additional requirements including a drug test, TB screening and complete background screening through the Department of Juvenile Justice. There is a cost of $100 for these items which is reimbursable after 50 hours of volunteer service.
Adult supervision (parent/guardian) is required for volunteers under 18 years old.

Miami Bridge Fundraising 2021 is a group of students from Florida International University who are conducting a Service Learning Project to support Miami Bridge Youth and Family Services. We all have a passion for supporting our community and hope that you will help us in reaching our goal!
